The Aquila Art Glass Mardi Gras line is the short-handle browse view of the brand's Mardi Gras Collection, the carnival-bright confetti family inside the studio's broader hand-fused glass catalog. Mardi Gras pulls feature multi-color confetti-pattern fused glass: small chips and shards of contrasting color glass dropped into the base color. The layered glass is fired together so the finished piece reads as a celebration of layered color. Aquila is a Portland, Oregon studio that hand-fuses every piece in small batches.

What identifies Mardi Gras

The confetti-color pattern is the visual fingerprint. Where Solids carry a single uniform color and the broader Aquila catalog covers swirl, bubble, and dichroic patterns, Mardi Gras commits specifically to multi-color confetti. The chip arrangement varies between individual knobs even within the same color family, so each piece is technically unique. The base-color foundation gives the line its overall reading (cobalt-base Mardi Gras reads bluer overall; amber-base reads warmer) while the confetti chips carry the celebratory visual energy.
