Lazy susans cabinet hardware solves one recurring problem: turning a hard-to-reach corner cabinet into storage that actually rotates into reach. The two shelf shapes decide which cabinet each one fits. Full-circle shelves form a true 360-degree round, built for cabinets with a single door opening onto the whole corner. Kidney-shaped shelves, named for the curved, one-sided notch cut into an otherwise round shelf, clear the center post and door frame of a blind- or two-door corner cabinet, where a full circle would catch on the cabinet walls as it spins.
Measuring the opening before you buy
Shelf diameter is measured cabinet-to-cabinet, not shelf-to-shelf. Measure the interior width of the cabinet opening at its narrowest point, then subtract an inch or two for clearance. Materials and shelf-only replacements
Molded polymer shelves are lighter and easier to wipe clean. Banded wood shelves, also available here in kidney and D-shape profiles, add a furniture-grade look to a corner that's otherwise plastic and hardware. Several listings are marked shelf only; these replace just the shelf on an existing pole and mounting assembly rather than supplying a complete new unit, so skip them unless the rest of the hardware is staying in place.
