The Atlas Homewares Centinel Collection

The Atlas Centinel Collection is one of Atlas Homewares' transitional cabinet hardware lines, anchored around clean rectangular and squared profiles that read as contemporary without losing warmth. Atlas was founded by jewelry designer Adrienne Morea in 1993 in Los Angeles, and the Centinel pieces show that California-modern sensibility — restrained geometry, careful proportions, and finish options that suit both warm and cool kitchen palettes.

What sets Centinel apart

The collection's signature is a slightly angular pull profile with edges that catch light cleanly. Centinel pulls and knobs share enough visual DNA to coordinate across a full kitchen install — the same edge treatment shows up on a 3-inch knob and an 8-inch pull. The result is a coordinated read across doors and drawers that doesn't require mixing collections to fill out the install. Finishes range from brushed brass and bronze through cooler nickel and chrome.

Where Centinel works best

Transitional kitchens are the most common home: shaker or simple raised-panel doors in painted finishes, paired with countertops that lean either warm (quartzite, soapstone) or cool (white quartz, marble). Centinel also pairs well with soft-contemporary slab-front cabinets where the rectangular pull profile reinforces the cabinet's geometry. For a more strictly contemporary install, look at Atlas Sleek; for more traditional pieces, see Atlas Craftsman.

Sizing and ordering notes

Centinel pulls come in a range of drill-center spacings to handle drawers and doors across a typical kitchen. Pull length should run roughly a third of the drawer width for balanced proportion. Atlas ships from stock for most Centinel SKUs, which makes the collection practical for whole-kitchen runs rather than accent-only use. Coordinate finish across brushed brass or other family hardware in the same install.
