Atlas Nobu Collection cabinet hardware
The Atlas Nobu Collection is a Zen-minimal line of squared and rectangular knobs with a short matching pull, built on clean planes rather than curves. Nobu is one of the Atlas families designed to all but disappear into the door, which is exactly its appeal in a minimalist room.
What identifies the Nobu look
Nobu's signature is the flat geometric block: a 1-3/8 inch square knob and a 1-3/4 inch rectangle knob, both low-profile slabs, with a compact 3-inch center pull in the same squared section. There is no taper, bevel, or ornament; the form is reduced to a clean rectangle. Three finishes carry the line, Polished Chrome, Brushed Nickel, and Matte Black, the black version reading as a quiet dark stroke on a pale door. The defining trait is that minimal rectilinear geometry, the Zen restraint that names the collection and keeps it from competing with the cabinetry.
Buying considerations
Nobu fits contemporary, Japanese-influenced, and minimalist kitchens, baths, and built-ins where slab and flat-panel doors call for the least visual noise. Matte Black makes the geometry read as a deliberate graphic line; Brushed Nickel keeps it soft and fingerprint-tolerant; Polished Chrome adds a bright edge. Use the square knob on smaller doors, the rectangle on wider ones, and the short pull on drawers, holding one finish throughout. The small pull suits compact drawers; for very wide banks, repeat the rectangle knob in a pair rather than stretching the pull, since the squared shapes are meant to sit as crisp single marks.
