Rev-A-Shelf functional cabinet storage and organization
Rev-A-Shelf is the category leader in functional cabinet storage. The catalog covers pull-out pantries, lazy susans, waste-container systems, drawer organizers, and the other components that turn cabinet boxes into working kitchens. The company was founded in 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky by David Noe at Jones Plastics and Engineering. Noe repurposed injection-molded appliance components into cabinet-storage parts. The current operation runs out of a 315,000-square-foot Louisville facility and employs roughly 435 people. Hardware ships from stock; most orders land within 1-2 business days. This is the storage and organization side of cabinet hardware, not the decorative side.
What the catalog actually covers
Lazy Susans and pull-out pantries are the foundational products that built the brand. They are still the most-asked categories. Waste-container systems handle in-cabinet trash and recycling pull-outs. Drawer organizers cover spice racks, utensil dividers, and cutlery trays. Tresco LED lighting (acquired by Rev-A-Shelf in 2011) extends the line into under-cabinet and in-cabinet lighting. Childproof locks finish out the catalog with safety hardware for cabinets that hold cleaning supplies or pharmaceuticals.
How the line is built
Products are engineered as systems rather than pieces. Polymer trays, steel slides, wood components, and mounting hardware are designed to work together inside a specific cabinet-box size. Most lines specify which cabinet-opening dimensions they fit. Many products are sized for the common 9", 12", 15", 18", 21", 24", and 36" cabinet widths. The acquisition of Omega National Products extended the catalog into decorative wood accessories like corbels and rosettes.
When Rev-A-Shelf fits a project
Choose Rev-A-Shelf when the kitchen is being remodeled and the goal is more usable storage out of the existing cabinet footprint. A pull-out pantry in a single 24" cabinet adds more accessible storage than building a walk-in. Pair Rev-A-Shelf hardware with decorative pulls and knobs from other brands on the page. This catalog finishes the inside of the cabinet, not the door front.
