Brushed Antique Copper Cabinet Hardware

Brushed antique copper cabinet hardware: Berenson's Euro Traditions and Euro Moderno side by side

Both Berenson lines share the BAC suffix and zinc construction, but Euro Traditions (2933-1BAC-P pull, 2923-1BAC-P knob) stays curved and traditional in outline, while Euro Moderno (9719-1BAC-P pull, 9722-1BAC-P knob, plus a 9711-1BAC-P cup pull) squares its edges off instead. Only Euro Moderno offers the cup pull, at 64mm between screw holes, a shape the Traditions side skips entirely. Buyers wanting a shallow scoop for a bath vanity or a narrow silverware drawer have to pick Euro Moderno for that reason alone.

What the antiquing actually is

Instead of a distressing pass applied after the fact, the aging sits built into the plating depth itself: recessed areas of each casting stay darker, raised surfaces pick up more light, and that contrast is what reads as antique instead of a uniform copper wash. Even Euro Moderno's plainer, squared-off pieces pick up some visual texture from this effect despite carrying no carved detail of their own. Berenson keeps that same depth consistent across both lines rather than varying it piece to piece.

Choosing a profile before choosing the finish

Since both lines wear identical color, the pick between the two mainly tracks how ornate the surrounding cabinetry leans, rounder profiles or squared edges. A Euro Traditions pull mounted beside a Euro Moderno knob still holds together visually once installed, since the shared copper plating does more visual work than the shape gap separating 2933-1BAC-P from 9722-1BAC-P.

Nearby warm and cool options

A lighter warm alternative sits at brass cabinet hardware; something darker and more subdued lives at bronze cabinet hardware, both worth a glance, and a physical sample of each settles the comparison faster than any photo can, before locking an entire kitchen's hardware order into one option.
