Brushed tin cabinet hardware carries pewter's muted gray without nickel's cool blue undertone, and without pewter's added darkness either. Berenson supplies the bulk of it across three lines: Oasis, Puritan, and Aspire, worked in zinc and spread across knobs, drawer pulls, and appliance-length pulls. Tin showed up on lanterns and early American hardware long before it reached modern cabinet lines, so choosing it over nickel or pewter often signals a slightly older-fashioned intent even on plain shapes.

Three lines, three silhouettes

Oasis and Aspire keep to plain transitional bars and knobs. Puritan works in an artisan profile instead, more texture cut into the casting than either of its siblings carries. All three land in the same tin tone, so a Puritan knob and an Oasis pull match in color even with different shapes underneath. Puritan's texture shows best under low, angled light near a window or an under-cabinet fixture, where the pattern throws small shadows worth noticing up close.

Only Aspire reaches appliance length

Aspire's longest pull runs 12 inches, long enough for a refrigerator panel or an oven door, well past drawer range. Oasis tops out at 160mm, still within drawer territory. A kitchen mixing both lines needs Aspire specifically once a door runs past typical drawer width. Both lines share the identical zinc base, so switching between them mid-order changes only the shape, never the underlying material.

A quieter stand-in for polished nickel

Brushed tin's low reflection keeps fingerprints from showing as easily as a glossier nickel finish would, a reasonable substitute for anyone drawn to nickel's cool tone but wary of shine on hardware handled daily near a stove. It also ages evenly, with no bright polish layer to wear thin unevenly the way unlacquered brass does over the years.
