Crystal chrome cabinet hardware ships as pulls only, no knob

Crystal chrome cabinet hardware skips knobs entirely under this particular name; every sample piece mounts on two holes rather than one. Richelieu builds it into Merritt and Vence, two contemporary lines that each work a single faceted crystal into an otherwise plain chrome bar, small enough not to overwhelm the metal surrounding it. Both collections stay entirely within Richelieu's contemporary catalog, so nothing here borrows from an older, more ornamented period shape even at a glance.

What separates Merritt from Vence

Merritt runs a heavier bar profile with its crystal set near the middle. Vence trims down to a slimmer body and pushes the crystal toward one end instead. Each collection covers two lengths apiece, and the gap between short and long is wide enough that guessing isn't advisable; measure the current holes with an actual tape before either collection name enters the decision, since guessing wrong on a two-screw pull turns into a redrilling job later.

Restraint over ornament

Beyond that one faceted stone, neither bar reaches for anything decorative. The metal stays square-edged and unadorned, a much plainer build than Richelieu's other crystal-and-metal designs, pieces sold under different collection names that lean eclectic and wrap the stone in busier surrounding detail. That plainness is exactly why crystal chrome reads modern instead of glam, one point of sparkle standing in for a whole decorative program.

Finding a matching knob

Neither Merritt nor Vence includes a knob of its own. Most kitchens pull a plain chrome knob from a different Richelieu line to fill that gap, or drop in a nickel knob where a touch less shine suits the smaller drawers better. Either choice keeps the metal family intact on a door, even if the crystal accent doesn't carry over to the single-hole pieces.
