Dark nickel, entirely commercial-grade hinges here

Nothing decorative sits in this dark nickel cabinet hardware collection. Every sample piece is a hinge from Hardware Resources' 900 Series, cam-adjustable and rated for commercial use, built for cabinetry that gets handled harder, day after day, than an average residential kitchen.

Reading the degree number

Each 900 Series hinge lists its opening angle, 110 or 125 degrees across this range, which sets how far the door swings before stopping. Cabinets set near an island edge or a neighboring wall need the wider angle; a 110-degree hinge might not clear an obstruction that a 125-degree version would. Confirm actual clearance before placing an order, since a door that stalls short of fully open, or swings back into whatever sits beside it, is a hassle to fix once installed.

Full overlay, partial overlay, inset

These three describe how much frame the door hides when closed. Full overlay conceals nearly the entire frame; partial overlay leaves a visible strip between adjacent doors; inset seats the door flush within the frame opening itself. Most kitchens built or remodeled in the last two decades use full overlay construction. Older cabinetry and some custom builds still run partial overlay or inset, so checking the existing setup first avoids reordering the wrong type. A quick look at the door's current gap against the frame usually tells which construction style is already in place.

Cam adjustment keeps alignment forgiving

A cam adjustable hinge lets a door get nudged after mounting, side to side or in and out, without new drilling. That's a functional feature, not a visual one, but dark nickel scratches visibly near the hinge cup if a screwdriver slips, more readily than lighter finishes show the same mark. Pair these hinges with decorative pulls in nickel or chrome to keep the metal tone matched across the door, even with the hinge itself closed and out of sight.
