Bar pulls come on 96, 128, 160, 192, and 224 mm centers, which is about 3-3/4, 5, 6-5/16, 7-9/16, and 8-13/16 inches. The mushroom knob is 1-1/4 inches in diameter, and the appliance pull is 12 inches center to center.

How to choose

Measure center to center between the screw holes on your existing cabinets and match that number to the nearest pull size. On new cabinets, scale the pull to the drawer width. The shorter bars suit narrow drawers, and the 192 and 224 mm sizes look better on wide ones.

A rounded mushroom knob next to a straight bar pull gives the set some contrast without fuss. Bar pulls mount with two screws and the mushroom knob with one. Check the screw length against the thickness of your door or drawer fronts, since thicker fronts may need longer screws. For the appliance pull, check the panel width and the clearance behind it before ordering. Center pulls on drawers, and place knobs near the corner away from the hinge.
