Notting Hill Kitchen ID Knobs and Pulls

Kitchen ID is a labeling system as much as a hardware line. Each pull is shaped to identify what's behind the door: China, Bowls, Pots & Pans, Towels, Cutting Boards, Cleaning, Serving Trays, Small Appliances, so a pantry or butler's pantry can be read at a glance instead of opened door by door.

How the labeling actually works

These aren't text labels; they're pictorial pulls cast in fine solid pewter, each one representing its category through shape rather than lettering, stacked bowls for Bowls, a pot and pan silhouette for Pots & Pans, folded fabric for Towels. All eight pulls share the same modern-leaning silhouette and mounting style, so they install and read as one coordinated set rather than mismatched pieces.

Planning a pantry or butler's pantry layout

Before ordering, map which cabinet gets which pull. Kitchen ID only works as a system if the label matches what's actually stored behind it. A few practical pairings: Cutting Boards and Bowls near prep space, China and Serving Trays near dining-adjacent cabinets, Cleaning near the sink. Buying one of each for an eight-door run is common, but there's no rule against repeating a pull on a cabinet that holds more of one thing.

Who this collection suits

Kitchen ID fits large pantries, butler's pantries, and open-shelving-adjacent kitchens where guests as well as the household need to find things without guessing. It's less useful on a small galley kitchen with only four or five doors, where memory does the job a label would. The pewter finish stays neutral enough to sit against most cabinet colors without needing to match a specific palette.

Ordering across a full set

Because all eight pulls share one mounting style, swapping the set later if a pantry gets reorganized is straightforward. A household adding a wine fridge or a second appliance cabinet later can simply order the Small Appliances pull rather than replacing hardware across the whole run. Keeping one or two spares of each design on hand is a practical habit for renters or builders installing across multiple units.
