The Notting Hill Olde World Collection

The Notting Hill Olde World Collection is the brand's heavily traditional cabinet hardware line, with cast pewter and bronze pieces drawing on European and Old-World decorative tradition. Notting Hill Decorative Hardware was founded in 1996 in southeast Wisconsin and hand-casts every piece at a fine-arts foundry. The Olde World line covers the most period-ornamental end of the catalog, with detailed surface work and warm dark finishes.

What defines the Olde World line

Heavily ornamented period silhouettes: cast surfaces with applied scrolls, rosettes, and figurative detail; shaped backplates with scalloped or beaded edges; and finishes selected to read warm and aged — antique pewter, antique brass, weathered bronze. The casting holds enough surface variation that each piece reads hand-finished, and selected pieces are offered with hand-applied color accents that reinforce the period reference.

Where Olde World pieces fit

Old-World traditional kitchens with dark stained cabinets, European country and farmhouse kitchens, period restorations, lodge and rustic homes, and traditional bath vanities. The collection does not suit modern, transitional, or even restrained traditional installations — the ornamental density is high, and lighter cabinet styles get visually overwhelmed by Olde World pieces.
