Bathroom accessories: cabinet-interior fittings and decorative pieces together

Bathroom accessories covers ground that doesn't fit neatly into a single fixture type, spanning pieces installed inside a cabinet and pieces displayed out in the open. Rev-A-Shelf's vanity sink base drip trays represent the hidden category best: molded plastic shaped to line a cabinet floor beneath a sink and catch drips from a leaking trap before they reach bare wood. Rocky Mountain Hardware's tray, tissue cover, and waste basket accessory sit at the opposite end, finished pieces built to stay visible on a counter or a floor.

Getting the drip tray size right

Rev-A-Shelf makes the drip tray in three sizes, so measure the actual cabinet interior first instead of estimating from the vanity's outer width, since the usable floor space inside typically runs smaller than the cabinet box suggests. An oversized tray won't lie flat against the back or side panels, which undercuts what it's there to do.

Shower storage vs. visible accessories

Smedbo's Sideline baskets attach inside the shower itself, either on a riser bar or the tile wall, keeping soap and bottles clear of the floor. Rocky Mountain Hardware's shower curtain rod, brackets, and hooks arrive as one complete rod assembly rather than a single replacement fixture, better suited to swapping an entire setup than fixing one worn hook. One group works inside the shower; the other frames it from outside.

Coordinating the decorative pieces

Rocky Mountain Hardware's tissue cover and waste basket accessory are designed to pair with the brand's other bath hardware, so check finish against whatever Rocky Mountain fixtures are already installed nearby before adding either piece to an order. Plastic and cast metal age on different timelines too: a Rev-A-Shelf tray gets replaced outright once it cracks, while a cast piece from Rocky Mountain is meant to outlast the room's remodel cycle entirely.
