A rounded profile pairs naturally with soft, curved knobs and pulls already installed through a house. A squared, minimal line instead suits a house furnished with crisp geometric hardware. An arched top echoes the same shape used on that family's entry sets and other trim pieces, useful anywhere an arched opening already sets the visual tone. Reader type, card or RFID, layers on top of whichever profile fits, since both readers exist across most of these shapes.

Confirm the lock body before choosing a plate

These pieces dress an existing electronic lock mechanism; they aren't the mechanism itself, so nail down which reader type a door already needs ahead of picking a profile. A rounded plate generally won't retrofit cleanly onto hardware cut for a squared body, since the cutouts differ. On a property with several electronic doors facing each other, staying within one profile avoids an obviously mismatched pair.
