Richelieu Hardware Bray Collection cabinet hardware
The Richelieu Hardware Bray Collection is a line of low-profile finger pulls made in Italy. Each pull is a slim, sleek handle with concave grips cut into both its top and bottom edges, so it can be opened from either direction and blends into a minimalist front instead of standing out from it.
What identifies the Bray look
Bray pulls are made of zamak and finished in Matte Black or Chrome. The range runs from a tiny 5/8 in (16 mm) pull for the smallest drawers, through two-position pulls that fit either 2 1/2 in or 3 3/4 in (64 or 96 mm) and either 5 1/16 in or 6 5/16 in (128 or 160 mm) hole spacings, up to a 10 1/8 in (256 mm) pull for wide drawers. The pulls sit close to the door, projecting about 3/4 in on the smaller sizes and 7/8 in on the larger ones.
Buying considerations
Bray suits modern kitchens, bathroom vanities and built-in furniture where the cabinetry should look clean and continuous. Because the grips are concave on both edges, the same pull works on upper doors, which you open from below, and on base drawers, which you open from above. The two-position sizes are especially useful when replacing hardware, since they cover two common hole spacings each. The low projection also keeps hips and sleeves from catching in tight walkways. Matte Black (offered in every size) suits light or wood cabinets, while Chrome (5/8 in and the 128/160 mm size) keeps a cooler look. M4 screws are included.
