Richelieu Silverthorn Collection cabinet hardware
The Richelieu Silverthorn Collection is a modern metal pull line built around a single clean handle profile. Silverthorn is a pulls-only family offered in a focused size range and a small set of tones, so a kitchen can run on one consistent shape and finish.
What identifies the Silverthorn look
The pull is a slim straight bar with a low standoff and an unornamented body, sitting quietly against flat cabinetry. Sample sizes run at 96mm, 128mm, 160mm, and 192mm center-to-center, a compact range aimed at standard doors and everyday drawer fronts rather than oversized panels. Richelieu offers Silverthorn in a charcoal-bronze tone for a soft recessed read alongside a brighter metallic for a crisper modern look. The profile holds even across each size, so the line reads as one continuous detail.
Buying considerations
Silverthorn fits modern and transitional kitchens and baths, particularly smaller frameless doors and standard drawer banks where a long pull would look heavy. The compact size range keeps it scaled for typical cabinetry rather than appliance panels. Because the line carries no knobs, coordinate a knob from another Richelieu modern family in a matching tone for upper doors if you want them. The charcoal-bronze tone recedes against deep cabinetry, while the brighter finish reads as a deliberate accent on light fronts, so pick the finish to the room. Confirm the center-to-center spacing against your existing holes before ordering, since the four sizes do not interchange. The low standoff keeps the pull from snagging towels in a tight galley, a practical edge over a deep bowed handle. On smaller wall cabinets the 96mm size keeps the proportion right where a longer pull would look heavy. Because every size shares the finish and depth, a kitchen that mixes door and drawer lengths still reads as one continuous line.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes does the Richelieu Silverthorn pull come in?
Silverthorn is available in four center-to-center measurements: 96mm, 128mm, 160mm, and 192mm. The range is designed for standard doors and everyday drawer fronts rather than oversized appliance panels. Because the sizes do not interchange with one another, the existing hole spacing in your cabinetry should be confirmed before ordering.
Does the Silverthorn collection include knobs, or is it pulls only?
The Silverthorn line is pulls only — no knobs are offered within the family. For upper cabinet doors that require a knob, Richelieu recommends pairing one from a separate modern Richelieu family in a matching tone. This keeps the overall hardware scheme visually consistent even though the knob comes from a different collection.
How does the charcoal-bronze Silverthorn finish compare to the brighter metallic option?
The charcoal-bronze tone is designed to recede against dark cabinetry, creating a soft, low-contrast read. The brighter metallic finish reads as a deliberate accent and suits lighter cabinet fronts where more contrast is wanted. The choice is primarily about the relationship between the finish and the cabinet color rather than any difference in the pull's profile or size range.
What cabinet styles and spaces is the Silverthorn collection best suited for?
Silverthorn is sized and profiled for modern and transitional kitchens and baths, particularly frameless cabinetry with standard door and drawer dimensions. The low standoff height reduces snagging in tight galley layouts, which gives it a practical advantage over deeper bowed handles in confined spaces. On smaller wall cabinets the 96mm size maintains correct visual proportion where a longer pull would appear heavy.
