Richelieu Hardware Swansea Collection

Richelieu Swansea Collection: Contemporary Metal Cabinet Pulls

Profile, finishes, and sizing

The Swansea Collection is a pull-focused line built on a straight contemporary metal handle with minimal detailing and clean trim posts. The shape is deliberately quiet, the kind of profile that recedes into a modern scheme until a hand reaches for it. Swansea is offered in pulls across a range of drawer-center spacings, scaling from shorter widths suited to upper cabinets to longer runs sized for wide drawers and panels. Because one handle shape repeats across every size, a full kitchen reads as a single uninterrupted horizontal line rather than a mix of profiles. The finish set centers on champagne bronze alongside cooler metal tones; the champagne bronze lends a subtle warmth while the cooler options keep the palette strictly contemporary.

Where it fits and how it compares

Swansea suits modern and contemporary kitchens with flat-panel or slab cabinetry, where the door is plain and the hardware is meant to stay understated. The straight profile rarely dates, which makes it a steady choice for clean-lined builds and rentals where longevity outweighs statement. Because the line is pulls only, doors that need hardware pair best with a complementary modern knob family in a matching tone. Before ordering, confirm drawer-center spacing against existing bores so replacements land on the old holes, and scale pull length to drawer width so a wide bank reads balanced rather than under-handled. For a closer look at how Swansea sits within Richelieu's contemporary range, it compares naturally to the Padova and Monceau pull lines.
