The pattern shows up as a repeated element along the plate edge instead of one central emblem, which keeps it readable even on a narrow escutcheon.

What identifies a Fleur de Lis piece

Look for the stylized lily worked into the plate edges or corners, in place of a plain rectangular or oval shape. It reads more ornamental than Rocky Mountain's simpler Edge or Arched lines, so it suits homes already leaning traditional, European, or French Country over a stripped-down modern build.
