The size range inside Du Verre Polar

Du Verre Polar centers on one plain, continuous bar shape repeated across five lengths plus a knob. C-CS01 knobs a compact 2 1/4" for drawers. C-CS03 runs 3 1/2", C-CS04 adds mounting posts at 4 1/8", C-CS05 stretches to 10 3/8", and C-CS06 tops out at a full 17", sized for a pantry-width front or a large appliance panel. Every piece ships without ornament, a deliberate contrast to Du Verre's more heavily worked artisan pieces.

What C-CS04's posts change

Unlike the other Polar pulls, C-CS04 mounts on two posts rather than a flush bar back, which lifts the piece slightly off the panel surface. That small gap changes how the pull feels on a heavily used drawer, giving fingers extra clearance a flush-mounted bar doesn't offer. Check your door thickness against C-CS04's post length specifically ahead of ordering; its mounting method departs from every other size in the line.

Stepping from 3 1/2 to 17 inches without a visual break

Every length in this run skips surface texture entirely, so a size jump shows up as a plain change in dimension rather than a shift in pattern. That lets C-CS03 sit on narrow drawers while C-CS06 covers a pantry-width door within the same project, with neither piece looking out of place beside the other. Reserve the knob, C-CS01, for spots too tight to take even C-CS03. Holding one length steady across every drawer in a run matters more on a plain surface than a textured one, since nothing else on the piece distracts from an uneven step in size.

If Polar's plain surface isn't quite right

Rio keeps a similar square-ended pull shape but adds a hand-worked surface texture across the face. Forged 3 goes further, with a heavier hammered surface across nearly its entire run of bar pulls. Holding either alternative next to a Polar pull shows how much surface texture changes the read of an otherwise similar bar shape.
